Ever wonder why some people never get anything good out of their life? That’s because they don’t know what they want in the first place!

You must be specific in your passions, then you must focus all your efforts on that particular desire.

Some people don’t really know what they want. For one moment they’re excited over a particular thing or endeavor. The next thing you know they completely abandon it; either because they lose their interest or because they give up when they encounter a little problem. The people who constantly change their minds and those who give up easily when the going gets tough will never get anywhere. They have not experienced a spiritual awakening. You could be a little bit confused at this time. You don’t seem to know what you really want in life. You might want to consider these to start your spiritual journey:

1. What makes your heart beat with excitement?

2. What makes you happy?

3. What are you consistently thinking of day & night?

4. What do you want to do for the rest of your life?

5. What do you enjoy doing?

6. What are your obsessions?

7. What things make you jump with joy?

To help you out, just follow these steps.

1. Write on a piece of paper all your possible answers for the seven questions above. Write anything, even seemingly unimportant ones.

2. Encircle 5 to 7 items that interests you the most.

3. Then evaluate and choose with your heart the one and only thing that is worthy to spend all your time and resources with. The choice you make should be something that allows your inner talents to shine.

Other than the exercise above, you could also ask your close friends and relatives about their personal dreams. You could also read books and surf the net to help you in your search.

Use your heart. Other people may disagree with you, but you should be firm with what you really want. Others may give comments or advice, but the final decision is always yours to make. You should concentrate only on what you want and not something other people want for you.

Then you have to constantly visualize and affirm your desires.

If you want to be a lawyer, visualize as one. Act like one. Think of what suit you’re wearing, the judge you’re convincing, the case you’re handling, and the courtroom you’re in. Visualize the evidences. Smell the victory. Make everything real.

Believe that you are what you are visualizing. So you want to be a lawyer? Tell yourself, ‘I’m the best lawyer in the world.’ Don’t say to yourself, ‘I will be the best lawyer in the world.’

Affirm strongly. Say ‘I am,’ not ‘I will,’ because ‘I will’ suggests something that will occur only in the future. You have to experience it NOW and not in the future.

You must sink into your subconscious your deepest desire. The subconscious mind can do what the conscious mind cannot.

Here’s an exercise.

1. Get a peaceful and comfortable place to rest.

2. Relax your whole body. Command every part of your body to relax starting from your feet up to your head.

3. Slowly count back from 20 to 1, where in each count you relax deeper and deeper. Upon reaching 1, you are completely relaxed.

4. Now affirm your deepest desire. If you want to be a lawyer, say,’ I am the greatest lawyer in the world.’ As you’re saying that, picture yourself to be the best lawyer ever, winning every case you’ve come across. You may say ‘I am now explaining to the jury my winning proposition’ or anything that will affirm what you’re conceiving in your mind as of the moment.

5. After about 10 to 20 minutes of continuous confirmation and visualization, count slowly from 1 to 20. Upon counting, slowly be aware of your surroundings. Feel refreshed and invigorated after doing this exercise.

6. Repeat this exercise every day. You have just learned a very powerful technique to greatly enhance the power of visualization and affirmation by embedding it into the subconscious. What once is nearly impossible to achieve will become easier to reach from now on.

Don’t go sleeping tonight without making a final decision on WHAT YOU REALLY WANT IN LIFE MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE. Then every day, visualize and affirm.

Harnessing the Power of Your Subconscious Mind

If you’ve ever seen the old movie, “Field of Dreams,” you might remember the saying, “If you build it, they will come.” You have your own field of dreams, and that is your subconscious mind. In this case, “If you think it, it will come.”

You have the power to create the life you want, to change who you are, to change whatever you think is missing or inadequate into something perfect, all through the use of your subconscious mind. It’s truly a powerful and beautiful thing, and can heal, transcend current circumstances, make you feel good; or make you feel bad. The subconscious mind, truly, has the power to completely change our world if we take control of it.

If you’re skeptical, you’re not alone. However, give me a chance to show you with a few examples just how powerful your mind is. One of my favorite examples is actually from the medical field, and works on a scientific basis. It’s been documented time and time again, actually, and it’s called the “placebo effect.” The medical field has coined the term “placebo effect” to denote a specific type of effect. Oftentimes, for example, this term is used during medical trials. The control group is given a “placebo,” which is an inert substance that has no medical benefit whatsoever as a drug might give. It’s used as a counterpoint to the other group, which gets the actual medication. This is to clearly prove any benefit (or detriment) the drug itself might give. However, both groups are told what the medication is for and what it should do for them, and neither group knows which pill they’ve gotten; placebo or actual medication.

In absolutely each and every study the control group will provide similar results to the study group. Perhaps not in the same intensity, but you will have people that show improvements or exhibit changes or side effects that the medication can cause. Why is that? It is because they were told what the pill would do, they believed that they were being given the real pill and that they were either going to get better or get the side effects.

Think about this in your own situation. Perhaps you haven’t been involved in any medical trials, but when you go to the doctor, are you told a specific medication is going to give you side effects? If the doctor minimizes side effects to you, don’t be surprised. A doctor knows how powerful one’s mind is, and may actually think telling you will cause side effects; through the power of your subconscious mind. Therefore, a doctor may minimize these negative things, in the hopes that you won’t experience them. Suggesting them, in other words, may increase your chances of having side effects. And of course, they also want you to be compliant with taking the medication, so that’s another reason to minimize the negative effects of the drug.

So as you can see, the subconscious mind is incredibly powerful, and can produce powerful results, through both the power of the subconscious mind and the power of suggestion. And as it works in medicine, so, too, can it work in your life to create positive change. What’s preventing you from tapping into this most amazing power? You may want to use the power of suggestion to change the way your subconscious mind “talks to you.”

Or, you may want to use visualization to alter the way you see things. Visualization is a simple technique that really, truly works. You can do this a couple of ways. Try this; close your eyes and visualize what you want. See it as though you’re looking at it from your perspective, with it right in front of you.

Another way, and this is often used in conjunction with the first technique, is to create a physical picture. Let’s say that what you want is a new car, find a picture of the car you want better yet, go get a picture taken of you with the car. Hang that picture up where you can see it every day; the more you see it, the more the vision is imprinted in your mind your subconscious mind the more power it has. The subconscious mind power that you have will make that vision a reality.

Although this has been common knowledge for years to the really rich and high achievers, it has only been recently that scientists have started to understand the very real scientific process associated with this.

A scientific field called quantum physics has shown that matter is no longer solid at the subatomic level and simply becomes pure energy. And, quantum physics has shown that the mind can actually manipulate this energy. In fact, quantum physics has actually proven that the energy itself does not exist UNLESS it is observed.

What does that mean? Matter or energy exists because it is observed, and for no other reason. It is the mind of the observer that makes the matter exist, and not the other way around. In short, matter; and reality itself; is actually a creation of the mind. This is truly “subconscious mind power” at its essence.

Ancient religions have known this for thousands of years, but quantum physics has now brought this into the modern age and into modern science at last. Whatever your spiritual belief structure or paradigm, the science of quantum physics cannot be denied.

So if you could change your life just by thinking about it, wouldn’t you? All you have to do is harness your subconscious mind power. Use it to your advantage instead of letting it control you. Spend the next week using affirmations or visualization techniques to acquire what you want. Make it something small at first and when you see that it works make yourself a new life by developing your subconscious mind power.

Exploiting The Power Of Mind

As the college fund commercials back in the 80s said, ‘the mind is a terrible thing to waste’. The commercial wasn’t really about what we’re going to be talking about here, but the idea is one which can be applied here as well. You definitely don’t want to waste the power of the mind, especially your own. You can tap into the power of your own mind to make positive changes in your life.

You’re certainly at least somewhat familiar with The Secret of power of the mind, whether or not you’ve ever read the book or watched the film, you probably know the basics of the law of attraction which is the central idea of the work. When you think about things, you attract them to you – whether you do so consciously or not.

In a way, you can see this effect at work in clinical trials where it is known as the placebo effect. It’s all about mind over matter. When you think about something; rather, when you believe in something, the power of the mind can make it happen.

All of us have experienced something like this in our own lives. We all have those days where we wake up thinking that this is going to be a bad day – and in fact, these days usually are. This is the power of the mind at work.

There is an ever growing amount of evidence for a scientific basis to the power of the mind, with one of the most intriguing ideas coming from the world of quantum physics. This is the possibility that matter either does not take shape until an observer is there to witness it. This suggests that the power of the mind may actually be what shapes the universe, not the other way around.

Many scientists now believe that many things which we think of as supernatural are in fact explainable through hard science, although we’re only beginning to understand just how it is that telepathy, ESP and other mental phenomena work.

You may not have really given it any thought until now, but the power of the mind is something which you can put to work to make positive change in your own life. Wouldn’t you want to learn how to work with the universe to get what you want using your own thoughts? There are a few techniques which can help you to do just that; keep reading to learn more about these methods.

The first step is to have a goal; this has to be a specific, rather than a general goal. Instead of thinking ‘I want to be rich’, think ‘I want three million dollars’. Having a specific goal makes it easier for you to focus your mental energies on achieving your objective. Learning to focus is the key here; most of the time, you may have dozens of different thoughts going on at once.

Many people already understand the power of the mind and they expend a great deal of time and effort into putting their mental energy towards meeting their goals. These people focus on their objective, putting all of their thoughts and actions towards their goal – they put the full power of the mind in order to overcome obstacles and make it towards what they want. Since their minds are in control and they are putting all of their resources towards attaining their goals, they make it a reality. It all sounds so easy, but it is not quite as easy as it may seem.

Suppose that there’s a house that is just perfect for you – but it’s not even for sale and you’re not ready to buy a home at the moment. However, the power of the mind can make it all happen. Start focusing your mental energies on this goal. Visualize what vegetables you’d plant in the garden and what color you’d paint each room in the home. Put your energy into things which will help you be ready to make this home yours, such as looking into how to get a good mortgage, getting a better job or a promotion so that you’ll be better off financially and other preparatory steps.

After you’ve put your effort towards it, your dream starts coming true – the house goes up for sale, you are able to secure the mortgage, your offer is accepted and everything goes fine. It’s all because you’ve been putting your thoughts and your energy into achieving your goal; this is what makes it happen for you.

Every one of us can do this. It’s just a matter of understanding your own inherent abilities and believing in the power of the mind to achieve the things you want out of life. Start with a small goal and you can work from there to accomplish ever greater things.

First off, What Exactly Is This Movie All About?

Beyond The Secret is a compilation of real life stories by real people that have experienced the Law of Attraction at work in their own lives and includes many Master Teachers who share powerful life changing information that drives you to create exciting new ways of thinking!

Holli Walker (the creator of the movie) spent 18 months researching her stories and interviewing 10 of the most respected and experienced personal development Master Teachers along with many ‘ordinary’ people from all walks of life who share their amazing experiences with the Law of Attraction.

The Beyond The Secret DVD is fully loaded with easy to understand ideas and practical advice that you can start using immediately to achieve whatever you want in life.

The Good, the Bad and the Last Word!

The Bad Points

Obviously no movie is perfect. So here’s what I didn’t like about it…

My main gripe is the cameo interviews with each of the Master Teachers, who each appear many times throughout the movie, seem to be cut short in the editing. By that I mean that each time a teacher is faded out it seems a little too early, the next teacher then appears within a split second with another new message.
You will need to take notes or watch the movie several times (as I have) to fully grasp the thought provoking and life changing messages that you are bombarded with constantly – there is no ‘think time’!
Also, I found the voice of Ricki Byers Beckwith (Dr Michael Beckwith’s daughter) is a little difficult to comprehend in places, but maybe that’s just a problem with my ears!

The Good Points

Most importantly: The movie achieves its goal, It Works. It progessively takes you from recognising what you perceive to be wrong in your life, to knowing how you can make things better, and finally what you must do and how to do it! It compels you to take action.
The Secret told you all about the Law of Attraction, what it is and how to attract what you are seeking into your life. Beyond The Secret goes a whole lot further. It shows you not only how to apply the Law of Attraction but many other Universal Laws too! It explains why you need to get out of your comfort zone and what the true meaning of the ’secret’ is really all about! I’ll leave it up to you to find the true meaning of the ‘the secret’ message, but it becomes obvious towards the end of the movie! This movie really is the secret behind the secret!
Walker Productions (Holli and her Producer/Director Husband Rick) have done a superb job on this movie, it’s a quality movie that equals The Secret.
All of the Master Teachers are genuine personal development guru’s in their own speciality, but special mention has to go to Les Brown, through his humour and personality Les steals the show for me!. At the risk of spoiling the movie for you, here’s one of Les Brown’s little gems “If You’re Going Through Hell, Don’t Stop, Keep Moving!”

The Bonus Features
Included on the DVD are many great Special Bonus Features including an interview with Bob Proctor on his thoughts about why The Secret didn’t go far enough.

The Last Word

And so this is the end of my Beyond The Secret review. When I watched The Secret by Rhonda Byrne for the first time it sent tingles down my spine, and still does. Holli Walker has done such a great job with Beyond The Secret it sets your mind racing and also makes you tingle! It’s the perfect successor to The Secret movie.

This movie really takes you out of your comfort zone and forces you to take action towards those dreams you want to attract into your life. This DVD can be summed up by this quote “Tell Me What You Want and I’ll Show You How To Get It” – Bob Proctor

I recommend that when you buy the Beyond The Secret DVD, you order 2 copies because you’re going to wear the first one out in no time!

Last night I watched the Beyond The Secret DVD for the forth time and each time I see it the more I get out of it. The Secret told you all about the Law of Attraction, what it is and how to attract what you are seeking into your life. Beyond The Secret goes a whole lot further. It shows you not only how to apply the Law of Attraction but many other Universal Laws too! It explains why you need to get out of your comfort zone and what the true meaning of the ’secret’ is really all about!

The movie runs for 70 minutes and is very fast paced. It bombards you with message after message after message, which is why I recommend you watch it very closely without any external interruptions, and more than once!

I’ll leave it up to you to find the true meaning of the ‘the secret’ message, but it becomes obvious towards the end of the movie! This movie really is the secret behind the secret!

Holli Walker does a great job of both appearing in and producing this movie. It is certainly as good as what Rhonda Byrne achieved with The Secret. Bob Proctor is his usual very informative charismatic self and Les Brown simply steals the show with his personality and humour.

Beyond The Secret – What Does It Mean?

Hi, Ray here and thank you for visiting my site Beyond The Secret – Review…

As a student of Universal Laws and Personal Development since 1993 I have seen, read, bought, downloaded and experienced countless different authors, audios and movies since that time and I continue to seek out new sources of information on the topic. In my experience many sources of information about what Wallace D Wattles called the ‘formless substance’ (more commonly known as the Law of Attraction) in his book The Science of Getting Rich are well meant but rehashed interpretations based on the one fundamental law from which all other Universal Laws are derived. Bob Proctor and many other mentors on this topic agree that this ‘fundamental law’ is known as the Law of Vibration.

As with all Universal Laws, the Law of Vibration is working all the time but unless you tune into it you will have no idea it’s even there. Similar to radio waves, unless you tune into the correct frequency you won’t hear the radio station, but the radio station is broadcasting all the time 24×7. To listen the radio station of your choice you need to take action by tuning into the frequency on which it is broadcasting. It’s the same with the Universal Laws! They are always available to you, they are always working, so it’s up to you to ‘tune in’.

So how do you ‘tune in’? By engaging your emotions and feelings! It’s simply not enough to recite affirmations or chant meaningless words over and over again in the hope that what you are seeking will instantly materialise before your eyes. You need to really feel what it is you are seeking to attract as if it has already happened. First visualize what you want, then smell it, touch it and know that it is yours – no question – and finally, take action towards your goal!

One way to start the process in motion is to ‘play the movie in your head’. However, the trick is to play the movie from the end of the movie! Using this technique. you will already know how the movie ends so in the meantime you simply go through your daily activities taking ‘baby steps’ towards your goal in the knowledge that you will receive what you are seeking – guaranteed! These laws cannot fail you can depend on that, similar the Law of Gravity it is always there and can be used to your advantage.

One such enlightening source that recently awakened the Law of Attraction in many people all over the world was the movie The Secret by Rhonda Byrne. In this movie we were shown what the Law of Attraction is and how many have used it over centuries in a variety of ways. But The Secret movie left us wanting more! Most people were compelled to go beyond the secret and find out more!

Holli Walker was one such person. She is the inspiration behind the Beyond The Secret DVD. In a future post I will provide a full review of this DVD including amazing mentors such as Bob Proctor and Les Brown that appear in the movie, as well as the good and not so good points about this movie as I see it.
